Routines
A glass-skin routine for humid Indian summers
Humidity already gives skin a sheen. The routine that works here is light layers, a steady barrier, and sunscreen that does not slide off by noon.

Glass skin is not a heavy glow. In Mumbai, Chennai, or a Kolkata afternoon, the air is already wet. The aim is even, calm skin that reflects light, not a film of product sitting on top.
Keep the layers thin
Start with a gentle cleanse. If you wore sunscreen, a small first cleanse with an oil or balm lifts it. The second cleanse should feel quiet, not tight.
Pat on a hydrating lotion while the skin is still damp.
Use a niacinamide serum if your T-zone looks shiny by lunch.
Seal with a gel cream, not a rich butter.
Finish with a broad-spectrum sunscreen and reapply if you are outside.
What to skip when the air is wet
Thick occlusives and too many facial oils can trap sweat and sunscreen. If a product pills or feels sticky after ten minutes, it is the wrong weight for this weather. One active is enough in the morning.
