How to double cleanse when sunscreen is non-negotiable
A sunscreen that protects you will not always rinse off with a foaming face wash. A short first cleanse is the difference between clear skin and a congested chin.

If sunscreen is on your face from morning until you get home, water alone will not take it off. Leftover filters settle into the chin and the sides of the nose, which is where congestion often shows up.
The two steps
Massage a small amount of cleansing oil or balm over dry skin, including the hairline.
Add a little water, let it turn milky, and rinse.
Follow with a low-foam cleanser for about thirty seconds.
Leave the skin feeling soft. If it squeaks, the second cleanse was too much.
On days with no sunscreen and no makeup, one gentle cleanse at night is enough. Double cleansing is for the days you actually wore protection.
